Experience the vibrant traditions and spiritual significance that continue to influence Cambodian society today. Join us for a transformative exploration of Cambodia's rich spiritual landscape!

Stop one : Water blessing

Visit one of Siem Reap's oldest pagodas for a Buddhist session led by a monk, where you’ll learn about teachings and monastic life. At the end, you can participate in an optional water blessing ceremony that cleanses bad luck and brings harmony. This experience offers valuable insights into local healing practices and traditions.

Stop two : Pagoda walk

After the ceremony, we’ll take a short 20-minute walk for reflection and discussion. This time allows you to think about the day’s experiences and share insights with your guide and fellow travelers. It’s a great opportunity to express your thoughts and discuss the impact of the ceremony and your overall experience.

Stop three : Meet a fortune teller

in a rural area of Siem Reap, where visiting such practitioners is a common way for people to seek guidance from spirits or gods. Every Cambodian village typically has a traditional healer or fortune teller. You’ll visit her family and observe her spiritual site, learning how she connects with her spirit master to help others. Participation is optional, and if you choose, you can ask her for insights about your future.

Stop four: Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm

Visit the Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm Shrine, a popular site believed to protect the city. Our guide will share insights about animism and how it’s practiced here. We’ll purchase offerings for the spirits and learn why these rituals are important. Participation is optional, allowing you to decide whether to join. Afterward, we’ll walk to a traditional music site, where the guide will explain its connection to the spirit world.

Stop five: Dinner at viking House

Enjoy dinner at Viking House, a vegetarian restaurant after visiting Ang Chek Ang Chorm. While vegetarianism isn’t common in Cambodia, you can find such restaurants in many cities. This restaurant is run by a vegetarian community that follows Mahayana Buddhism, primarily Cambodian-Chinese individuals. Experience delicious vegetarian dishes while learning about this unique aspect of local culture.
